In this 2.5 hour handbuilding workshop, you will be guided through the steps of creating your very own functional berry colander! Perfect for gently washing/draining and even serving delicate fruits like berries, cherries, tomatoes, and herbs!
First you will shape your colander bowl, add specialized holes for quick drainage, optional handles, and a unique design using underglaze transfers or a choice of our house glazes for dipping (we do the dipping after the bisque fire!)
Popular styles include replicas of farmers market berry baskets, rustic pinch pots, or modern sleek shapes.
* All pieces go through a long drying (no explosions!) and firing process that takes between 10 days - 2 weeks
