Intro to Wheel
Instructor: Shauna Twardzik-Heine
You’re here for one of two reasons. 1. You’re looking to one day have a, “Ghost” moment and this is clearly a necessary stepping stone. 2. You are DETERMINED to make a better mug for your mom than the one you made in 10th grade. Either way, we got you covered.
In this 5 session beginner class, students will be introduced to the world of clay through the pottery wheel. Students will create functional pieces such as bowls and mugs on the wheel and incorporate surface design and color with glazes.
You are welcome to take all “Beginner” classes as many times as you want. We recommend at least 2 sessions. Our instructors are all amazing at accommodating a variety of skill and experience levels.
New Perk! Students enrolled in any 5/6 week session, will receive 3 free hours of Open Studio time! This time can be used to practice skills from class independently or for glazing, cause it allllllwaaays takes longer than you think it’s going to :)
