Spring is here and we’ve got four handbuilding workshops ready for you this month!

Citrus juicer

FRIDAY April 3rd 530-730p

In this 2 hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your own functional citrus juicer. Just in time for fresh, bright spring flavors.

Learn both how to use molds with a slab building technique and creating different shapes with pinch pots. From there, we’ll add a spout for easy pouring and explore simple textures and details to customize your design.

Finish with underglaze transfers or choose one of our house glazes for dipping (applied after the bisque fire).

* All pieces go through a long drying (no explosions!) and firing process that takes between 2-2.5 weeks

You will receive an email when your work is ready for pick up!

Aprons will be available, but dress to make a mess.

Mushroom Mug

SATURDAY April 11th 5-730p

In this 2.5 hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind mushroom mug using slab construction.

Learn various handbuilding techniques to sculpt whimsical mushrooms and design a fun, sculptural handle. We’ll add surface details, underglaze transfers, and finish your mushroom caps with minimal glazing for a pop of color.

Complete your piece by choosing from our house glazes - we’ll take care of the final dipping after the bisque fire!

* All pieces go through a long drying (no explosions!) and firing process that takes between 2-2.5 weeks.

Fancy Egg holders

SATURDAY April 18th

In this 2 hour workshop, you will use clay slabs and molds to create a charming little egg tray. You will also explore different handbuilding and sculptural techniques to add texture and design. Lastly, we will offer a variety of surface design options: from underglaze transfers to house dipping glazes - color will complete these fancy egg-ccessories!

Butter dish

SATURDAY April 25th 5-730p

In this 2.5 hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your own butter dish - because everything’s better with butter.

You’ll learn how to form pinch pots for the lid and use slab construction for the base, building a piece that’s both functional and fun. Shape your (b)utterly perfect handle, then add texture and details to make it your own.

Finish with underglaze transfers, minimal underglaze details, or choose from our house dip glazes - we’ll handle the final glazing after the bisque fire!
